In France nothing can be like anywhere else.
The Iphone will be sold only in Orange store. Not Online not at the FNAC. We will not be able to buy the phone and walk out with it. We will have to get the contract at the Orange Store and then activate it with Itunes when you get home. The activation will take 4 hours.
If, like me, you are with an other phone company, you will have to wait for the transfer of the number. It will take at least 10 days.

I wish, I could order it at the Apple Store and get my plan through the Internet and Itune like in the US.
Why to do it simple when you can do it soooooooo complicated?

L’Iphone sera uniquement vendu dans les magasins Orange. Il ne sera pas vendu par Apple en ligne ni à la FNAC. En tout cas dans un premier temps. Quand on aura acheté l’Iphone on ne pourra pas sortir du magasin sans avoir signé un contrat. Une fois à la maison il faudra activer l’Iphone depuis Itunes. Orange informe que l’activation pourra prendre 4 heures.
Si, comme moi, vous êtes avec un autre opérateur et que vous voulez garder votre numéro, il faudra attendre au moins 10 jours pour utiliser l’Iphone (temps de transfert du numéro).

Je rêvais de pouvoir le commander à l’Apple Store et de choisir mon forfait pendant l’activation avec Itunes comme au Etats-Unis.
Pourquoi faire les choses simplement quand on peut le faire de façon compliquée.
