Kevin Rose returns to Digg.
Digg’s founder, now the new CEO, announced a month ago a new version of Digg.
Last week, I was luckily invited by Kevin to try out the new site. Digg’s redesign makes it more like a social network like Facebook or Twitter. Digg now makes it easier to follow people, to friend, while sharing is the new core feature.
What is Digg?
Digg is a social news website.
Digg is a place for people to discover and share content found on the web. From the biggest online destination to the most obscure blog, Digg surfaces the best stuff as voted on by our users. You won’t find editors at Digg — we’re here to provide a place where people collectively determine the value of content. In doing so, we’re changing the way people consume information online. (Digg FAQ).
What's New in Digg v4?
When you sign in for the first time you are taken through a process that suggests you profiles to follow and prompts you to search for friends to follow using your Facebook, Twitter or Google accounts.
I love the interface, simple and easy to read.
It is uncomplicated to view what the people you are following digg and to discover the top stories dugg by your friends.
Submitting stories is quicker and more straightforward than with the old version. Now you can digg things you publish using the Import Feeds feature (you will find it in the setting of your profile). You can import feeds automatically, things you published, and then send it to your follower with the hope that they will digg it too.
When you digg a story, all of your friends and followers will get it on top of their news feed. If your followers digg it again, your story will be spread like wildfire in a chain reaction reaching people around the world (Kevin says the universe...I wish).

My Visit at Digg.
When I was in San Francisco last month, I gave Digg a visit. A super nice girl at the front desk who let me take some pictures welcomed me.
After I introduce myself, she remembered getting my blog T-shirt that I had sent her earlier in the week.
I sent the T-shirt to thank them for sending me stickers last spring.
